specified in <a href="../ms-dcom/4a893f3d-bd29-48cd-9f43-d9777a4415b0" data-linktype="relative-path">[MS-DCOM]</a>,
for initiating configuration operations for a <a href="6f99e32f-d3b3-4431-b0e6-122f5d1ca71e#gt_acd8b49c-8762-48fd-9272-26a03643322b" data-linktype="relative-path">failover cluster</a>. The
ClusCfg Protocol allows users to restore a <a href="6f99e32f-d3b3-4431-b0e6-122f5d1ca71e#gt_762051d8-4fdc-437e-af9d-3f4da77c3c7d" data-linktype="relative-path">node</a> that is no longer a
configured member of a failover cluster, back to its precluster installation
state.</p><p>Sections 1.5, 1.8, 1.9, 2, and 3 of this specification are
normative. All other sections and examples in this specification are
