data. The value of the <i>Level</i> parameter determines the contents of the <i>ServerInfo</i>
parameter. This parameter MUST be one of the values in the following table. The
NetrServerSetInfo method does not support a <i>Level</i> value of 103. If a <i>Level</i>

object based on the caller-supplied values and the <i>Level</i>. The server can
set its operating parameters individually or collectively. The information is
stored in a way that allows it to remain in effect after the system is
reinitialized.</p><p>The value of the <i>Level</i> parameter can be 101, 102,
502, 503, 599, 1005, 1107, 1010, 1016, 1017, 1018, 1501, 1502, 1503, 1506,
1510, 1511, 1512, 1513, 1514, 1515, 1516, 1518, 1523, 1528, 1529, 1530, 1533,
1534, 1535, 1536, 1538, 1539, 1540, 1541, 1542, 1543, 1544, 1545, 1546, 1547,
1548, 1549, 1550, 1552, 1553, 1554, 1555, and 1556. </p><p>As previously stated, a <i>Level</i> value of 103 is not
supported by the NetrServerSetInfo method. If the <i>Level</i> parameter has
any other value, the server MUST fail the call with an ERROR_INVALID_LEVEL
error code.</p><p>After receiving the <i>NetrServerSetInfo</i> method, the
server MUST update the server setting that corresponds to the <i>ServerInfo</i>
parameter. The format for the <i>ServerInfo</i> parameter is as specified in SERVER_INFO (section 2.2.3.7).</p><p>If the <i>Level</i> parameter is equal to 101, the server

is passed in the <i>ServerInfo</i> parameter. The validation involves making
sure each member of the structure in the <i>ServerInfo</i> parameter has a
valid value as specified in the definition of the corresponding SERVER_INFO
structure. If any member of the structure is not valid and the <i>ParmErr</i>
parameter is not NULL, the server MUST set <i>ParmErr</i> to a value based on
the first member of the structure that is not valid and fail the call with an
ERROR_INVALID_PARAMETER (0x00000057) error code. The mapping between the values

underlying server event as specified in <span><a href="../ms-cifs/d416ff7c-c536-406e-a951-4f04b2fd1d2b" data-linktype="relative-path">[MS-CIFS]</a></span>
section <span><a href="../ms-cifs/0b3352fb-bdcb-4c0a-bec1-b8243dedec73" data-linktype="relative-path">3.3.4.22</a></span>,
providing SERVER_INFO_103 and SERVER_INFO_599 structures as input parameters.</p><p>The server MUST update browser configuration by invoking the
underlying server event specified in <span><a href="../ms-brws/d2d83b29-4b62-479e-b427-9b750303387b" data-linktype="relative-path">[MS-BRWS]</a></span>
section <span><a href="../ms-brws/d2e11f4e-9614-44cd-8824-4e7577dee06f" data-linktype="relative-path">3.2.4.1</a></span>,
providing the SERVER_INFO_103 structure as input parameter.</p><p>The server MUST persist the values in <b>ServerConfiguration.ServerInfo103</b>
and <b>ServerConfiguration.ServerInfo599</b> in a persistent configuration
store.</p><p>The server SHOULD<a id="Appendix_A_Target_83"></a><a aria-label="Product behavior note 83" href="ebb74ff2-abb1-4e1b-a76a-563a5cbbea9a#Appendix_A_83" data-linktype="relative-path">&lt;83&gt;</a> enforce
security measures to verify that the caller has the required permissions to
execute this routine. If the caller does not have the required credentials, the
