Sending this packet MUST set the volume of the speaker component of the

MUST contain the result of the encapsulated telephony request. A nonzero
request ID value indicates that the request is in progress and will complete
asynchronously, and a <a href="b1c6fae0-09ca-4f7b-85f6-1324376d231c" data-linktype="relative-path">PHONEERR_Constants</a>
value indicates synchronous failure.</p>

<p>Returns a positive request identifier if the
function will be completed asynchronously or a negative error number if an
error occurs. The <i>dwParam2</i> parameter of the corresponding <a href="b0508c16-f090-4562-b367-50ea4adf8c35" data-linktype="relative-path">PHONE_REPLY</a> packet is 0 if
the function succeeds, or is a negative error number if an error occurs. If the

phone that contains the speaker whose volume is to be set. This field MUST have
been obtained by sending the <a href="6b5ee45e-b5c8-4148-a9b2-b16b9b995c3f" data-linktype="relative-path">Open</a>
packet.</p><p><b>dwHookSwitchDev (4 bytes): </b>An unsigned 32-bit
integer. Identifies the hookswitch device whose speaker volume is to be set.
This parameter MUST use one of the <a href="73925a29-5ae8-417c-baff-24db8b0aa3a6" data-linktype="relative-path">PHONEHOOKSWITCHDEV_Constants</a>.
</p><p><b>dwVolume (4 bytes): </b>An unsigned 32-bit integer
that specifies the new volume level of the hookswitch device. This MUST be in
the range from 0x00000000 (silence) through 0x0000FFFF (maximum volume). The
actual granularity and quantization of volume settings in this range are
specific to the service provider. A value for dwVolume that is out of range is
clamped by TAPI to the nearest value in range.</p><p><b>Reserved2 (4 bytes): </b>An unsigned 32-bit
integer. This field is used for padding and MUST be ignored on receipt. It can
be any value.</p><p><b>Reserved3 (4 bytes): </b>An unsigned 32-bit
integer. This field is used for padding and MUST be ignored on receipt. It can
be any value.</p><p><b>Reserved4 (4 bytes): </b>An unsigned 32-bit
