</dd></dl><p><b>pwszPathArray: </b>Returns an array of
null-terminated Unicode strings; one string for each volume GUID path name
associated with the volume.</p><p><b>pulNumberOfPaths: </b>Returns the number of volume
GUID path names returned in <i>pwszPathArray</i>.</p><p><b>Return Values: </b>The method MUST return zero or
a non-error <a href="../ms-dtyp/a9046ed2-bfb2-4d56-a719-2824afce59ac" data-linktype="relative-path"><span>HRESULT</span></a> (as specified
in <span><a href="../ms-erref/1bc92ddf-b79e-413c-bbaa-99a5281a6c90" data-linktype="relative-path">[MS-ERREF]</a></span>)
to indicate success, or return an implementation-specific nonzero error code to
indicate failure. For the <span><a href="8eef5d42-22d7-4302-aed9-12face91505a#gt_799103ab-b3cb-4eab-8c55-322821b2b235" data-linktype="relative-path">HRESULT</a></span> values
predefined by the Virtual Disk Service Remote Protocol, see section <span><a href="5102cc53-3143-4268-ba4c-6ea39e999ab4" data-linktype="relative-path">2.2.3</a></span>.</p><p>When the server receives this message, it MUST validate the
following parameter:</p><ul><li><p><span><span> 
</span></span>Verify that <i>pwszPathArray</i> is not NULL.</p>
</li><li><p><span><span> 
</span></span>Verify that <i>pulNumberOfPaths</i> is not NULL.</p>
</li></ul><p>The server MUST then perform the following:</p><ul><li><p><span><span> 
</span></span>Allocate a buffer to hold the volume GUID path names associated
with the volume, and initialize <i>pwszPathArray</i> with the address of the
buffer.</p>
</li><li><p><span><span> 
</span></span>Populate the output buffer with the volume GUID path names. Set
the value of <i>pulNumberOfPaths</i> to the number of the volume GUID path
names being returned.</p>
</li><li><p><span><span> 
</span></span>Return an HRESULT indicating failure or success.</p>
