Protocol <a href="https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=89824" data-linktype="external">[C706]</a> <a href="../ms-rpce/290c38b1-92fe-4229-91e6-4fc376610c15" data-linktype="relative-path">[MS-RPCE]</a>.</p><p>WSRM exposes a set of <a href="e371cc74-bf4c-4870-8afe-5062cc628b4f#gt_ae2a9876-7fed-4f0d-a390-bf78f76c0736" data-linktype="relative-path">Distributed Component Object
Model (DCOM) Remote Protocol</a> interfaces for managing processor and memory
resources and <a href="e371cc74-bf4c-4870-8afe-5062cc628b4f#gt_1156c8ef-4d49-462b-9f76-aebcb6c57011" data-linktype="relative-path">accounting</a>
functions on a computer. Using these interfaces, the following operations can
be performed:</p><ul><li><p><span><span> 
</span></span>Create, enumerate, modify, or delete rules governing resource
consumption.</p>

</span></span>Retrieve, store, or delete long-term, persistent resource
consumption histories.</p>

</span></span>Directly control <a href="e371cc74-bf4c-4870-8afe-5062cc628b4f#gt_43754e9e-2697-43b5-857d-2a81c17f010a" data-linktype="relative-path">resource management</a>
enforcement.</p>
